Electrostatic Motors Reach the Macro Scale
Dan Ludois cofounded the company C-Motive Technologies with the goal to use advances in electric motors to build macro-scale electrostatic motors. Their current prototype is capable of delivering torque as high as 18 newton meters and power at 360 watts.

With the new semester kicking off, students were given the opportunity to make connections with fellow students and WEMPEC faculty during a Fall Picnic.
