WEMPEC 2024 Annual Review Registration is open! |
We are excited to announce WEMPEC’s Annual Review dates – May 15-16, 2024.
Please join us at Engineering Hall on the UW-Madison campus for our 2024 WEMPEC Annual Review. Be part of a highly interactive environment in the field of power engineering!
The agenda for the two-day meeting includes:
- Presentations on pre-publication research, tutorials by the WEMPEC faculty, tours through our labs, and poster presentations by the WEMPEC students
- Meet new WEMPEC faculty
- Have the opportunity to converse with students, faculty, and colleagues
- Learn something new!
The registration fee is $175. In order to register, you must be part of a current member company and have your own WEMPEC user account.
If you already have a WEMPEC user account, this link will lead you directly to the registration for the Annual Review.
If you do not yet have a WEMPEC user account, this link will lead you to the registration for a WEMPEC user account. Once you have submitted your request, you will receive approval within two business days and then you can register for the Annual Review.
A few specific details:
- We will be hosting an informal gathering for those of you who will be arriving in Madison the evening before – Tuesday, May 14th – at the Memorial Union Terrace Sunset Lounge and Restaurant, 800 Langdon Street, from 6-8 pm. Invited guests include industry members, WEMPEC Faculty and Staff. Food and soda will be provided – beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Guaranteed parking in Lot 17 next to Engineering Hall will be available to the first 50 registrants.
- Links to hotel room blocks with UW-discounted rates are provided on our website. Earlier the better for booking rooms; most hotels will release held rooms at the discounted rate by the end of April.
