Like many of you, all of us in WEMPEC are looking forward to the ECCE conference next week. ECCE is the annual conference that has the greatest number of our students not only attending, but also participating and presenting. We wish we were all able to attend the conference in person to connect with you personally, but this strange time we are living in dictates that we do our best to connect with you virtually.
To that end, we want you to be able to find us in all of the conference events involving our faculty, students, and recent grads. Attached you’ll find copies of the Technical Program, Tutorials, and Special Sessions with WEMPEC participation highlighted in yellow. We want to particularly draw your attention to two memorial sessions dedicated to Prof. Tom Lipo that will be held on Monday afternoon (Special Session 1-A) and Tuesday morning (Special Session 1-B). We are extremely pleased that the conference committee has chosen to make these Lipo Memorial Sessions free to everyone, as noted in the highlighted section of the conference update below. Registration for the sessions can be found at https://iplanit.swoogo.com/ecce2020/692846
Please feel free to contact us if any of our papers or presentations catch your interest and inspire you to want to learn more about our research. Enjoy the conference, and we hope to see you in person at ECCE 2021!
Regards,
Professors Tom Jahns, Giri Venkataramanan, Bulent Sarlioglu, Dan Ludois, and Eric Severson
