Riccardo Breda is a visiting PhD student from the University of Udine in Italy and is being advised by Prof. Bulent Sarlioglu during his stay at WEMPEC, from September 2023 – May 2024. The IEEE PELS committee recently awarded him a 2023 Graduate Studies Fellowship and a John G. Kassakian Fellowship for his research in power electronics control of electric drives for reducing losses in Wound Rotor Synchronous Machines. Congratulations!
