Job Summary:
Product Marketing Engineers work with IC Design, Field Applications, Applications and Marketing to ensure the timely, and successful launch of new products. They drive pricing strategy for each product based primarily on the value of its function for any given application. Furthermore, the PME needs to have input to product data sheets, applications support materials, marketing collateral, tradeshow, presentations and website content. They will work with all inquiries for MPS’ products from our Field Sales, Applications Engineers and customers.
Essential Functions:
- Product launch
- Promotion of the products through advertising, editorials, written articles, website content, video, and other collateral materials (such as data sheets, ebooks, brochures, selection guides, etc.)
- Create presentations for general product lines, market-specifics, and customer- specifics
- Pricing
- Competitive analysis
- Troubleshooting issues and problems
- Q & A from the field and customers
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in Marketing / Applications within an Analog IC Company/Power management
- BSEE Preferred
- Experience in identifying/developing business in Communications, Consumer, IOT, and Storage markets is a plus
