The Junior Power Electronics Engineer will work on development of cutting-edge technologies for electrified powertrain applications. The work will involve,
- hardware architecture and schematic development
- hardware/software interface definition, implementation and verification
- Hardware bring-up, system debugging and optimization
REQUIRED BACKGROUND
- Master or PhD student in Power Electronics
- Hands-on hardware design experience
- Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals
- Experience with schematic, layout, PCB design
- Experience with scripting in Python or MATLAB
- Programming experience in C for embedded applications is a bonus.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Advanced degree
- 2+ yrs Automotive industry background
- MATLAB/Python for data analysis and visualization
- LabView, CANape, CANalyzer for data acquisition
- CPLDs, FPGAs, Verilog/VHDL
